Charles Édouard Jeanneret (* 6. october 1887 in la Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss Canton Neuenburg; † 27. august 1965 in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin close to Monaco), famous as Le Corbusier, was architect, urbanist, artist and designer. Le Corbusier belongs to the most important architects of the twentieth century. Equally important as floor plan and forms, was for Le Corbusier the color concept of his constructions and designs.
