"Excellent Product Design" – the German Design Award goes to heroal!

With the "heroal Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier entrance door", heroal just won the German Design Award, and deserved it. The "heroal Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier entrance door" received the German Design Award 2020 as "Winner" in the category "Excellent Product Design". The door thus emerged as one of the winning products in the Excellent Product Design category from a total of more than 5,000 submissions.

Best materials, highest functionality and maximum flexibility are combined in the entrance door system in Le Corbusier colours. Frames, handles, panels and hinges of the heroal door system can be individually designed in the always harmonious Le Corbusier colours of the Architectural Polychromy. In addition, the interior and exterior sides of the doors can differ in colour if desired. heroal has of course also considered the requirements for burglar resistance, thermal insulation, sound insulation and smart home compatibility for this entrance door.

The German Design Award

The German Design Award is one of the most recognised international premium prizes in product and communication design. It honours entries by design specialists from the design industry, business, academia and science. The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council and is one of the world's most recognised design competitions. The German Design Council is a competence centre for communication and knowledge transfer in the field of design. It was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag. In 2017, Les Couleurs Suisse won the German Design Award in the category "Excellent Communications Design Books" with the Architectural Polychromy book of architectural colours and in 2015 JUNG made a point with the switch classic LS 990 in the unique Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours, in the category "Excellent Product Design Building & Energy".
