Rado Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® Collection

Born in 1887 in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland, Charles Edouard Jeanneret Gris, better known as Le Corbusier, grew up in the heart of the watchmaking world. The UNESCO listed town remains one of Switzerland’s most important centres for watchmaking, alongside Bienne Biel and Le Locle. As the son of a clock engraver and enameller, Le Corbusier’s connection to watches and craftsmanship was present from an early age, making Rado’s interpretation of his celebrated colour system a natural meeting of design and horology.

Inspired by Le Corbusier’s Polychromie Architecturale palette, Rado created a series of True Thinline and True Square Thinline watches in vibrant Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® shades. Crafted from high tech ceramic using Rado’s advanced injection moulding technology, the watches are lightweight, ultra slim, scratch resistant and exceptionally comfortable to wear.

The True Thinline collection includes nine models, each representing one of Le Corbusier’s nine colour groups. Measuring 37 x 43.3 mm and only 5 mm thick, the watches combine minimalist proportions with bold colour expression. Sapphire crystal casebacks feature Le Corbusier colour stripes, his signature and the Polychromie Architecturale engraving, with each edition limited to 999 pieces.

Rado later expanded the collaboration with the True Square Thinline Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® collection, introducing three monochromatic ceramic models in Iron Grey, Grey Brown Natural Umber and Ivory Black. Each piece pairs a square high tech ceramic case with coordinated sun brushed dials and matching ceramic bracelets, continuing Rado’s focus on material innovation and timeless design.

The newest chapter of the collaboration was unveiled at India Art Fair 2026 in New Delhi with the launch of the Rado True Round x Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® Special Edition. Presented by Rado CEO Adrian Bosshard alongside Fondation Le Corbusier Director Brigitte Bouvier, the collection celebrates the connection between colour, architecture and contemporary watchmaking.
