Colour theory, made tangible

A new chapter begins for Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® with the launch of Ressource’s new paint collection.

Presented in Paris on 15 October 2026, the collection brings the complete palette of 63 Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® shades into Ressource’s world of interior paint.

For Le Corbusier, colour was never simply decorative. It was part of the architecture itself, with the ability to change how a space is perceived, create depth, highlight a volume or allow an element to recede.

With Ressource, this approach becomes tangible.

From architectural colour to paint

The 63 shades of the Architectural Polychromy have been faithfully reproduced by Ressource and developed specifically for use in contemporary interiors.

The collection is produced to order in Ressource’s workshops in Provence and is available in two finishes: Modern Matte, designed for walls and woodwork, and Extra Matte, with a deeper, subtly chalky finish for walls and ceilings.

Rather than treating colour as a final decorative layer, the collection invites architects, designers and homeowners to work with it as part of the spatial composition.

A wall can come forward or disappear. A strong shade can define a volume. A small area of colour can become an accent. Different tones can be combined to create contrast, continuity or a quieter tonal composition.

This way of thinking is at the heart of Le Corbusier’s approach to colour and remains just as relevant to interiors today. The Ressource collection gives that thinking a physical medium.

Two colour legacies meet

The collaboration also brings together two different histories built around colour.

Founded in Provence in 1946, Ressource has developed its expertise over four generations, with a strong focus on colour, made-to-order production and the preservation of chromatic heritage.

By joining the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® network, Ressource becomes an official licence partner for the Architectural Polychromy, reproducing the original shades according to the standards of the collection.

For Les Couleurs Suisse, the partnership is another way of keeping Le Corbusier’s colour system alive through contemporary architectural products and applications.

63 shades, countless compositions

The strength of the Architectural Polychromy lies not only in its individual colours, but in the relationships between them.

The palette was conceived as a composition tool, allowing colours to work together across different surfaces, proportions and levels of intensity.

Ressource extends this idea through physical samples, colour guides and composition tools designed to help users explore combinations and understand how the colours respond to one another.

The result is a collection that can be approached in many ways, from quiet tonal harmonies to stronger contrasts and precise architectural accents.

A new material expression for Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®

The launch of Ressource is not simply about adding another product category to the Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® network.

It gives the Architectural Polychromy a direct material presence on the surfaces that define an interior. Colour moves from theory to wall, while remaining connected to the architectural thinking behind it.

Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® edited by Ressource is available from 15 October 2026
