Rado builds on the success of the Thinline Les Couleurs®Le Corbusier collection of 2019 and, with True SQUARE Thinline Les Couleurs®Le Corbusier, the new proposition which succeeds it, a new collection intended for colour lovers is launched on the market.
A place like no other: these are undoubtedly the terms that best describe the conditions of the launch prepared by Rado. Before even reaching the reception rooms, guests found themselves immersed in the fascinating world of Le Corbusier.
The Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine of Paris was chosen to be the setting for the evening. Guests were guided through the long corridors and numerous exhibition rooms, which have been closed to the public long before, gleaning here and there information about the work of Le Corbusier and the wonderful world of architecture. Suddenly, we emerge on the roof terrace of the Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine, which offers a breathtaking view on the Eiffel Tower.
While the secret of the new collection still remained well kept, the press and industry experts have had the opportunity to enjoy the panorama and marvel at the Thinline Les Les Couleurs®Le Corbusier collection. It is obvious that the choice of this specific place is not random at all: it was the perfect meeting point between design, architecture and colour.
The new Rado True SQUARE Thinline Les Couleurs®Le Corbusier collection was presented with a unique background: the Eiffel Tower shining brightly in the splendor of the evening. For the first time, Rado combines two colours in one single watch!
Three coloured models, directly inspired by Le Corbusier's Architectural Polychromy, are presented: 32141 natural umber brown gray with 32001 cream white, 32010 metallic gray combined with 32041 slightly grayed English green or with 4320E ivory black.
In this collection, Rado relies on the square case and thus combines the essential design history of the company itself with architecture and color.
