The Le Corbusier houses of the Weissenhof Estate

Stuttgart – Schlossplatz, the work of Otto Dix, the Porsche or Mercedes-Benz Museum, the television tower and houses 13 - 15 of the Weissenhof Estate by Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. The single-family house No. 13 is based on the concept of "Citrohan Häuser" that Le Corbusier presented in his 1920-1922 studies.

In Tel Aviv 4,000 of these Bauhaus-pearls are on the Mediterranean beach, sometimes hidden, often dirty but highly esteemed and admired in wonder! From the 1920s, apartments were necessarily needed north of the old port of Jaffa, many apartments for many new citizens within a short time. This new living space was shaped by the ideas of modern architecture, as taught and represented by Walter Gropius, Mies van der Rohe, Hannes Meyer, Erich Mendelsohn and Le Corbusier.

The architect Philipp Mohr managed what Le Corbusier could never complete and realised the original plans of the great architect in his apartment of the Berlin Unité: he reconstructed the apartment through intensive studies on originals as well as using the original Le Corbusier colours.
